The architecture of Frescati
Today Frescati constitutes an architectural park with contributions from some of the country's foremost architects - David Helldén, Carl Nyrén and Ralph Erskine. During the tour, we will see Södra huset - one of the world's first "pure" glass buildings, Arrhenius' laboratory - built consistently with the prefabrication method, and the latest additions, Aula Magna and Geovetenskapens hus.

The art in Frescati
The Frescati campus holds an unthought amount of art work by Sweden's foremost contemporary artists. Some of the paintings and sculptures have been created solely for the site, and some have been created independent of the final placement. The result is an exciting collection of paintings, sculptures and installations in interaction with science.

After an introduction to the history and the unique construction of the greenhouse, you are free to stroll around in this fantastic milieu with extra floral splendor at this time of the year!

Campus Frescati is situated in the world´s first national city park. Take the opportunity to explore it, stroll over to the Swedish Museum of Natural History and the Cosmonova planetarium or visit the Bergianska, a botanical garden with a Mediterranian greenhouse.
